Why this exists

I ordered a rudraksha mala online and what arrived clearly was not one.

That is a small thing to be annoyed about. But when I went looking for a seller who would simply tell me what they were selling — which material, what size, what it weighed, where it came from — I could not find one. Listings said "100% original" and "energised by pandits" and almost nothing about the object itself.

So we built the shop we could not find.

What we do differently

We publish the specification. Material, size, weight and origin on every listing. Not marketing language — the actual numbers.

We do not list what we cannot describe. If a supplier will not tell us what something is made of, or the sample does not match what we were told, it does not go up. We have turned down more than we have listed.

We make no promises about your life. We sell physical goods and describe their physical properties. We do not claim a bead will fix your finances or your marriage. Anyone who does is selling you something other than the object.

We say when we do not know. If you ask us something we cannot verify, we will tell you that instead of inventing an answer.

Who this is for

The person setting up their mandir every morning who does not want to wonder whether the brass is really brass.

And the person wearing a rudraksha on their wrist who does not want it to be plastic.

Different reasons. Same requirement.

Where we are

We are a small team based in Bengaluru, shipping across India. Small enough that the person answering your email is the person who checked your order.
